Q: How can I be sure that the doctor I see is qualified?
A: STATCLINIX physicians are Board Certified in Family Medicine, Urgent Care Medicine or both, and practice Urgent Care Medicine full time. Our physicians are also certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and have experience in Urgent Care and/or Emergency Medicine.
Q: What kind of insurance plans does STATCLINIX contract with?
A: STATCLINIX contracts with most major insurance companies and Medicare. If you have specific questions, please call one of our locations where our Patient Account Representatives will be happy to assist you.
Q: What happens if I do not have insurance?
At STATCLINIX, we understand that many patients do not have insurance. We offer a special discount program for patients who pay cash at the time of service. The actual cost is dependant on the care you have received by our medical staff during your visit. Our Patient Account Representatives will assist you with these payment arrangements.
Q: What kind of X-Ray's does STATCLINIX do?
STATCLINIX facilities are capable of performing comprehensive X-Ray studies when ordered by a STATCLINIX provider. Many Urgent Care facilities staff with practical technologists who can perform chest and extremity studies only. By using licensed Radiologic Technologists, STATCLINIX providers can comprehensively evaluate patients with abdominal pain, dislocations, and traumatic injuries. The result is more thorough evaluations and more appropriate transfer to the Emergency Department.
Q: What kind of laboratory testing do you do on site?
Visual Urinalysis, Urine Pregnancy, Strep Screen, Glucose, and Hemoccult. Other tests are sent to the reference lab dictated by the patient's insurance plan.
Q: Are you able to fill my perscription?
STATCLINIX is able to fill prescriptions for the most commonly prescribed medications while you wait! We understand that when you are sick or caring for someone who is sick, it is comforting to know you do not have to stop at the pharmacy on the way home. >
